Anime North 2004 enjoyed
large sessions of attendees filling up the spaces for the cel-painting classes held by Steve
Bennett and the Drawing classes. Cel-painting enthusiasts got a chance to grab some
paint, water, a brush, and a neat cel of their choice to practice their skills and listen in
on the great Steve's stories of anime industry folklore. Drawing enthusiasts could sit
down and practice their skills along with helpful hints and tips on improving their sketching
techniques, speeding up their lines, and being able to draw more anime-style faces and bodies.
Additional workshops held throughout the weekend included: Vaccuforming, Japanese Art, Sewing
Skills, AIBO Meet and Greet, Making a Duct Tape Dressform, Mechayard Wars, and more. |
