Panels! Panels! Panels! More panels than you can shake a stick at and then some! Anime Central 2006 offered a huge variety of panels galore featuring many esteemed Guests of Honor, noted fans, and industry representatives from the domestic anime kingdoms all heading healthy discussions on various exciting topics ranging from new shows, fan activities, industry follow-ups, and other forms of fan entertainment lasting all throughout the day. Packed full of attendees, every single panel or activity offered something to learn from. If only school or work meetings were this stimulating.

Tokukatsu Live Action: Many anime fans still relish the popular live-action flicks you can catch on video.  Shows like Kamen Rider, Dekarangers, and numerous other involving combinations of horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and of course, wild acrobatics and monster suits still remain a staple crop in many video collections.

Trinity Blood: If you like supernatural sci-fi mixed with a bit of horror, then surely Trinity Blood is your new drug!  This show is all about a battle for survival between vampires and humans in the far future, with characters struggling put aside their personal flaws and work together to put an end to the seemingly eternal war.

How Troublesome Naruto: Like martial arts?  Wanna be a ninja?  Then Naruto is just for you!  Fans of this series came together to talk about their favorite characters, review the history of the episodes, give their impressions of the translations of the manga vs. the anime, give thoughts about the dub vs. subs, and much more.
Publishing: Veteran artists and authors Emily DeJesus and Bruce Lewis led this very informative panel about how to get into the very competitive publishing world.  Topics involved webcomics, print publishing costs, finding an audience, getting feedback on your stories, thinking about good layouts and designs, and much more.
