Up from last year, Anime Central 2K garnered an attendance number estimated at above 2110 attendees throughout the stormy/sunny weekend.  With plenty to see and do, no attendee walked away without being seen with a stuffed Exhibit Hall bag or two (sponsored by Bandai Entertainment), so the traffic level was kept at a steady pace without incident.

Registration and Merchandising

Above and below: Pre-registration and Registration lines worked smoothly throughout Friday and Saturday with no drops in the computer equipment commonly used by many anime conventions these days.
Nothing wrong with being clean, Anime Central preached the holy words again this year with another rendition of its popular "Got Soap?" fanboy theme.  Shown above is the front t-shirt design. Rear design of the same shirt.  Suffice to say, Anime Central proudly walks away being not only the cleanest convention of the year (second only to Anime Expo), but with also the largest growth of female attendance (the magic number to get those clean fanboys). And if you were an elite Anime Central 2K staffer, this is what you got in classic dark blue emblazoned with Lodoss Wars TV artwork.
