Hungry for more excitement but not engaged enough with all the amazing panels and events?  Looking for more physical action instead of watching anime all day and night?  Just not really into all that cosplay?  Then the Gaming rooms were prime for you!  Offering a nice round-up of the hottest games to play, from RPGs to first-person shooters, from dancing machines to plain 'ol fighting in the back alley games, Anime Central 2K had plenty of it and even held tournaments with cool prizes to win.

With the Dance Dance Revolution (sponsored by Gameworks) obviously the most popular of the video gaming arena, we can certainly look forward to more of these types of active-lifestyle games in the near future.  Following is a list of the games used in the Tournament: Ridge Racer 5, Dead or Alive 2, Street Fighter EX 3, Soul Caliber, Chu Chu Rocket, Marvel vs. Capcom, Hydro Thunder, King of Fighters '98, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Marvel Super Heroes, Guardian Heroes, Street Fighter Zero 3, Baku Baku, Ranma 1/2, Bust-a-Move, Dance Dance Revolution, Punisher, Dragonball ZZ, Bump and Jump, Shadow of the Ninja, Outrunners, and Giga Wing
Never to be outdone by video games, several avid role-playing game tables were quickly set up and worked their way well into the night with scenarios based on crossovers of anime, manga, and traditional dungeon and dragon games, as well as few original ones masterminded by hardcore RPG players.
