What's a convention without a great schedule of events to attend?  This year's Anime Central 2K packed schedule left many audiences a bit glazed and grinning from ear to ear.  So much to do!  So little time!  Take a little tour below to see what went on!

This year's Guests Reception was held in a nicely equipped tent just a few steps outside of the hotel.  Replete with light, heaters, plenty of hot and cold appetizers and drinks to dine on, numerous avid fans got a rare chance to speak candidly and comfortably with the honored Guests about their artwork, industry, worldly challenges, and personal views about the convention scene.
Daiken Yoko-o (blond hair), the wacky assistant to Tsukasa Kotobuki, goofs around with a pen and notepad for the surrounding fans. Ms. Chiho Saito and Mr. Kunihiko Ikuhara take a gander at an eager fan's sketchbook while interpreter/Guest Toshi Yoshida looks on.

In the wee hours of the night, you'd think everyone would be sound asleep.  Not so!  Hundreds of fans were packed inside the Main Ballroom to catch Midnight Madness' hilarious live-action screenings hosted by Corn Pone Flicks.  Noted short parody flicks included: "Corn Dog 7", "The Phone", "Pizzalero Version 1", "Desslock's Big Score", and even a wealth of old-timer comparisons of new anime versus old (or rotten) live-action that included: Golgo 13, Giant Robo, DragonBall, Gigantor, Rose of Versailles, Sailor Moon, and Devilman.
